I am happy to see that Zs are punishing Ts more often for assuming that Zs are going to macro as much as possible by minimising attacking units. Meta gaming against races and players is becoming boring and players need to mix it up a bit more as the caster is refering to with Stephano's more aggresive play.

In the end it is about winning for these competitors and not making it pretty for the viewer.



muzza: you should go pro and win everything with those free powerfull unit. It doesn't require any skills as you said.

Troll first comment. Good zerg play. Beastyqt actually played decently. The tank positioning was very very good. I wish he'd gone mech at least one of those games though.

Stephano engages so incredibly well, gosh. Screw the supply blocks, I guess - with engagements like that his macro could be 2x worse and he could still take some games at this level.

Aside from his off-kilter builds, which throw his opponents off and screw up preparation-dependent players, Stephano's micro is incredible and sometimes even groundbreaking. I still remember watching him win games by attacking siege tanks with ling/bling, burrowing banelings as they touched the tanks (which looked like they exploded, even to observers), backing up and then killing 20 or 30 marines at a time. The guy is incredible



Stephano has pretty good macro, but watching these games has shown me it is his micro that makes him so good. I think this comes from his WC3 experience.
