EmpireKas vs WhiteRa

Really fun game. Gotta love the impromptu special tactics from white-ra :P

Good cast, only thing I would comment on is you said double gas for protoss means it won't be a fast expand. These days that just isn't the case.

You were citing the Huk/Sase PvT day9 daily in the cast.. but did you actually watch it? One of the main ideas of sase's PvT opening is that it -IS- a 1-gate FE on double gas (2 in each geyser for a little while) which means the terran will not know what he's doing when the SCV gets in there. He gets 1 gate, pumps 5(!) units out of that gate while getting his Nexus, then adds 2 additional gates and pressures with 8 units when warp-gate finishes (or can wait for an extra warp-in).



I'm quite versed in SaSe's build; been trying it out myself. =]

In my experience, SaSe is the only one particular enough to get a 2-gas FE, but with it, he does his unique 2 in each gas style, which makes sense for an FE because you don't end up with a ton of gas you're not going to use.

White-Ra put 3 in each gas immediately, which meant he was teching for certain. Admittedly in this game Kas did not even scout the gas, but from what I've seen, no protoss will saturate 2 gas and then 1 gate FE unless they are chronoboosting a bunch of sentries for defense, in which case they are very paranoid about something.
