TLO vs Vines

I already said it in the idra-everize-cast, but gotta point it out here. Your voice is good until you come to a point when it should normally lower the pitch to point things out. Then your voice often highers the pitch and that's kinda... strange... no offense you know. Sounds so unconfident. Remember: Breathe through the stomach :)



Thanks for the feedback. It is very weird that I notice when I cast I seem to use less air over time when speaking, so it becomes less like my voice when, say, giving a speech or something, and I suppose that makes it less confident. I have indeed noticed this lately which is why it's good early on, I'm still working on it though, which is why it gets worse later on. Thanks though!



You are welcome. It is all a question of the right breathing technique and those techniques are no secret. Look for sources which tell you more about it, should not be hard to find. It could solve the problem of misspeaking when the game gets less predictable. I really hope you overthink your pitch as well, because your voice is actually really enjoyable when it sounds calm. Take this VOD fore example. I think your first sentence sounds good until you say "VINES", that's just so unnatural. Just sound like the man your dog thinks you are :) yeah and don't lose the passion of course, people love passion...



and you could stop listening to retards who have nothing better to do than criticize the pitch of your voice. I'm sure starcraft man doesn't cast at all or hasn't casted anything anybody watches.

He did have a fair point, sometimes in long games I start to feel crummy while casting because I start to speak too long without breathing which does effect both my voice quality and my mood.I don't think it's been a huge issue lately however, but I'm still open to anything which is easy to do and can have 0 negative consequences like breathing better :)



I'm glad you didn't take it as an insult. I just registered here because i saw you asking for tips and no one answered properly. I don't even have the game starcraft 2 - no time to play, just enjoying the casts, it's more entertaining than football or sth.

Dear hillman, a good breathing technique can improve your posts as well :)
