Madals, just so you'd know, I just registered to this site with the sole intention to explain to you how much you suck at casting. I usually don't give bad feedback to people, but I visit this site weekly and it's really sad to see that anyone can upload his casting without any supervision. Now, since I am already writing I will use this opportunity to mention the following reasons why I think you should never cast again (besides the obvious fact that the sound of your voice makes me want to puke all over my keyboard): First and fore most, many others and myself can download many replays from various sites and watch them for ourselves. if I took the time to listen to someone cast a replay I better get something extra other than explaining in your own words what I currently see with my eyes on my screen, unless you address to a blind audience. We, the blessed ones with the gift of sight find repeating very annoying. Second, I have never heard of you (and thank god for that) nor by the details you presented in the cast indicate that you were or still a pro gamer in SC, so I would advise you to keep out any personal details of your private games to yourself - no one cares about how many abductions you done against your friend. I still have many things to say to you but a good movie is about to start on television so I will leave you with this: play more of the game yourself, watch other replays and listen to other casters. hack, maybe even listen to your own cast before you publish it and then prevent yourself from exposing us to your horseshit. you were wrong in every decision and battle prediction in this game - casting is not for you unless you enjoy demeaning yourself. Look at the bright side, McDonalds is always hiring. Take care.




Allow me to retort! Everything that guy (Charlie27) just said is bullshit haha. Honestly though Charlie is entitled to his opinion but I just happen to disagree with him about your casting. If you don't like someone's casting then just stop watching.



Allow another retort, if you will. 56 thumbs up vs 11 down signifies the casting and game was just fine. I wouldn't say superb however it is much better than many other casters and does have a talent for it. Madals made the game more interesting and fun to watch and listen to.

Thank you Madals for the exceptional cast. BTW the accent is awesome.

Charlie27, this was a damn long text for just pointing out your personal opinion. A wee bit presumptuous, isn't it!
I make my opion shorter: Madals, I really enjoy your style. You might not be the best analyst, but I don't give a shit. You are enthusiastic, thus entertaining.

Madals, if you're reading this, I'm sure going into casting you knew that children like "Charlie27" would inevitably troll your efforts. FWIW, kids like "Charlie27" would inevitably troll anyone's efforts in anything. Just in case having his comment prominently appear on the top of this thread has caused you any negative thoughts, I want to let you know that I much enjoy your casts. I appreciate the work you're doing, you make SC2 matches more entertaining to watch. Thank you for all the work you're putting into this.



Madals might not be the best caster out there but at least the games he picks are almost always entertaining



I have never watched a cast by Madals before, and although I wasn't the biggest fan of his casting style, he is very well spoken. He may not be the next Artosis of analytical casting, but he is a friendly, up-beat sounding guy with a pretty solid (my guess is Diamond level?) knowledge of SC2. Last time I checked that was more than enough to justify giving casting a shot, so relax Charlie lol.



Also, I'm sure I'm not the only one who is tired of this bias with Idr. Every cast involving IdrA in the last 18-24 months involve him losing to some random and then bming him. After watching it once or twice, it becomes flat out boring. How about next time, instead of picking your game to cast based on whether or not IdrA was flaming or not, pick it based on game quality.

However, you shouldn't say the game length in advance. Many of us cover the game length before full-screening to avoid the spoiler.

Your casting is at least more accurate than some of your better-known competition. You picked up on little things like inactive gas, worker counts, etc, at key moments, which I have seen other casters miss.

Pretty good game, too. Reminds me of my games vs. terran.

I'm 100% with you #9. I literally signed up to say I'm sick of seeing Madals cast Idra games where he loses. It made me feel like Madals is some one trick pony, using a gimmick to try to get popularity by making fun of Idra rage. I don't watch much Madals for my own reasons, but I find the behavior tasteless and unprofessional.

(Just to fact check myself, I actually went and looked at a lot of Madals' games of Idra and it isn't quite as bad as I thought. I won't lie though, I had literally never seen Madals cast a game where Idra won. I figured, here we go again. Bias will make you some friends, but lose you others.)

I want 10 minutes of my life back now.



Firstly, thank you all for your kind words and I am really glad that most of you are enjoying :)

With regards to #9 & #16 and only casting games idra loses, it is by no means intentional! Whenever I get a game or series to cast from a replay I do everything in my power to avoid knowing the result or what happens so I can keep the upmost element of surprise / excitement / genuine reaction as that makes it more fun for me and hopefully for the viewer too!
Also, as followers will know, I cast at least 1 game everyday of the week, so keeping track of individual players win rate / BM rate is hard! Hopefully I will find some idea win games soon!
