cloud's assoult on 6oclock PF was terrible, pretty much as the whole game



cloud showed himself as a bad looser and whiner

yeah, cloud lost it tactically. he did a nice build up but had no 3rd act. well played qxc.



You know what would have taken care of that tank stalemate in the middle of the map? A nuke or three! Seriously, why no ghosts?

GG QXC, you are a great terran.



Once cloud had the contain set up outside of the base he should have switched to drop play. It would have put QXC to the same choice that cloud was facing later. You have to break your tank line to respond to the drops, or the drops will destroy your production and economy. Could also use banshees in the same strategy.



After the contain if you don't want to go to drop play then you have to make sure that your opponent can't break the contain with his own drop play. That means patrolling vikings, missile turrets, and sensor towers in key locations.



Another option against a tank line is nuking your opponents tank line or base, but that has a high risk/reward ratio and is probably not a dependable strategy.



Cloud's battlecruisers might have worked to break QXC's back. He was probably thinking to yamato the nearest tank and then pull back. Repair BC and then repeat.



The problem with that strategy is that it is too slow. Once your opponent is contained, he is going to start dropping on you long before you can execute it. Cloud would have to research the yamato upgrade and have BC's ready much earlier.
