kflynn, the point of a game is to have a competitive dynamic interaction....when people defect and chronically "cheese" ..or play in manners that force the opponent into limited strategy, then it ruins the point of the game, and hence that behavior needs to be punished in some way as to minimize it's occurance....thus social bashing... the defector always ruins things and should be held accountable....
