CatZ vs Alicia

Decent series, Catz is always an interesting player to watch. Some great strats (game 3 start was a great cat-and-mouse) but not fundamentally strong enough to win very often at the highest level.



It pisses me off when anyone ever goes 3hatch before pool. It has been PROVEN that it gives no added bonus. Zergs don't need as many hatches as they did in BW cause of queens and you don't lose mining efficiency until you have 16 workers per base. Because of this getting the queens earlier gives you more production (2 queen production > 1 hatch for same price - very slightly more if you consider supply cost) and with a normal 3rd hatch before gas, but after pool, timing you have no problems with workers being over saturated. TLO used to do stupid shit like this when he first switched to zerg. He never does it any more and no decent pro player does.
