I'm not picky with casters in general, but TB's lack of game knowledge is really obvious and nothing he says really seems to have substance. It's basically all just replying or rewording what Apollo says. I want to like TB, but even as a 'play-by-play' caster I think he would really benefit from playing the game more and advancing past Gold.

That is beauty of this casting pair and why it is my favorite.

TB knows enough to get by however, it is his energy that makes this his casting interesting.

Apollo is the data/analysis guy. He provides all of the build/unit/strategy information you could ever want in a cast.

They have excellent synergy and while there are a few games where the cast isn't that great, given that they are casting for many hours at a time, it can easily be forgiven. Especially considering how good they are.

Think of it this way. When things get too boring, TB comes in and makes it interesting. When things get too crazy, Apollo comes in and explains what all the excitement is about.

Plus these guys are getting better all the time. The other caster pairs don't hold a candle to these guys. Keep it up TB/Apollo!!! Look forward to more tournament casts from you both!

I agree, they've grown on me, really diggin' apollo, could do w/o the 'in the ____ trunks' every game from TB honestly, but I enjoy his energy.
